U.S. Kids Golf
US Kids Golf Ultralight 7 Driver
A junior driver sold in nine height-fitted sizes (99-168cm), with loft and head size scaled to each size - from 23°/250cc for the smallest players to 15°/400cc for the tallest.
$120
Pros
- Nine height-fitted sizes mean the loft, length and head size genuinely match the child rather than one-size-fits-most
- Left-handed option - still uncommon in junior clubs sold individually in Australia
Cons
- A well-fitted driver is outgrown like shoes - budget on replacing it as the child moves height bands
- Costs roughly double a budget junior driver
About this product
US Kids Golf sells the Ultralight 7 driver in nine sizes keyed to the child's height (the UL 39 through UL 63), and the club actually changes with each size: the smallest option is a 26", 23-degree, 250cc head, stepping through to a 42", 15-degree, 400cc head for players around 160-168cm.
The Ultralight design philosophy is a club light enough for a junior to swing at full speed - the maker states the length, head size and loft combinations were optimised using Trackman launch-monitor data.
Available in right- and left-handed versions with a graphite shaft.
