- Feature set is deliberately basic compared to Garmin's adult Approach watches
About this product
Garmin built the Approach J1 from the ground up for junior golfers rather than resizing an existing adult Approach watch. The 43mm case is designed to fit smaller wrists (115-195mm), and the interface strips back to only the essentials: distances to the green, a personal-par mode, and a pace-of-play timer.
Tee-off guidance scales holes using forward tee positions across more than 43,000 courses worldwide, which matters for junior golfers who often play from shorter tees than the course's default markers suggest.
