The Approach G12 is Garmin's simplest GPS device - a small clip-on unit (with a lanyard/clip rather than a watch strap) that shows big, easy-to-read yardages to the front, middle and back of the green across more than 42,000 preloaded courses.
It's not designed or marketed for juniors specifically, but its dead-simple single-screen interface makes it about as easy to read as the purpose-built Approach J1 - at roughly a third of the price, since it skips the smartwatch features and junior-specific design entirely.
