A dramatically cheaper way to get simple, accurate yardages than a GPS watch, at the cost of not being a watch.
Verdict
For families not ready to spend Approach J1 money, the G12's single-screen simplicity gives most of the practical benefit at a third of the price - the trade-off is clipping it to a bag rather than wearing it.
